The Luzerne County Ready Pledge was launched this week through a partnership with local organizations, regional Chambers and Luzerne County leadership. It is a way to openly communicate the commitment made by businesses of all sizes to protect the health, safety, and well-being of their employees and customers as we prepare to enter the "yellow" phase.
 
Being Luzerne County Ready means that all federal, state, and local public health guidelines are being followed at any location with the Luzerne County Ready designation.
 
These guidelines include following proper social distancing, sanitation, and cleaning protocols, and will enable our community to continue to be a great place to live, work, and play.

Local businesses can find relevant resources and walk through the steps to become Luzerne County Ready at www.luzernecountyready.org.
Businesses wishing to participate in the Luzerne County Ready Pledge must:
  • review, understand and abide by all county, state, federal, CDC and OSHA guidelines
  • locate and obtain all necessary personal protective equipment to ensure guidelines are being strictly enforced
  • complete the online checklist and pledge form
 
Once the pledge form has been completed, participants can download printable signage to reinforce their commitment to follow all local, state, and federal public health guidelines.
