Penn State Certified Family Recovery Specialist Program

Family recovery is a highly individualized journey that provides a unique perspective regarding the recovery process. A CFRS understands the stigma associated with substance use disorder and its impact on the family. The Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CFRS) credential is for adults who have been directly impacted by another person's substance use disorder. Participants will receive education in Family Recovery and Restoration, as well, as Healing and Stigma of Addiction.
